Safe Teen Vehicle Reporter

What is Vehicle Reporter?

The Vehicle Reporter monitors your teen's driving via the Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) system orbiting the Earth. A small, pocket sized device, it receives signals from the twenty-four Department of Defense satellites. Its internal computer accurately determines the vehicle's location to within about 8 feet, and records its location and speed once every second.

The Vehicle Reporter is a simple addition to any car. It requires no installation. No wiring. No antenna. Simply place it in the vehicle to record daily driving history.

Then, periodically, remove the Vehicle Reporter from the car and connect it to your PC through an available USB port. Using the PC software included, you can view driving history including street maps, aerial photographs and text reports.

Having the Vehicle Reporter on board can be a powerful deterrent against speeding and other risky driving behavior. You'll no longer have to wonder where the vehicle has been or at what speed it has been driven. Your teen's full driving history is available with a click of your mouse. See the sample mapping images and reports to the right.

Best of all, there are no installation or monthly monitoring charges.

One teen said, "I'm a better driver than my Dad. We both drive his car. When we downloaded yesterday's driving it showed that he speeds a lot! But my driving was perfect."
